Scientific attitude, I guess, requires filtering ideas through that 5 step process we all learned in middle school in order to come to an unbiased, factually based conclusion. Developing a scientific attitude requires objectifying reality and not allowing emotions or intuitions to creep in. Be careful because the ‘gut’ and heart know more than the mind does.
