What is schizophrenia and its causes?
A severe form of psychological disorder where personality seems to disintergrate, emotions are reduced, perception is distorded, thinking and language are weird. There ae a number of type of schizophrenia including paranoid (a person is afraid of everything eg “Cant sleep clown will eat me” that train of thought is typical in a paranoid schizophrenic) Catatonic (someone is in stupor for a periond of time, this stupor can make way for extreme excitement) and undifferentiated (where is it a mixture of both) CAUSES The causes of schizophrenia have not yet been precisely determined but research is revealing that schizophrenia is a result of the interaction of certain variations of genes (or damaged portions of genes) and major environmental impact during development of the brain during pregnancy and childhood.
