What is Schengen?
The Schengen Agreement is an agreement among European states which allows for common immigration policies (including the Schengen visa). With a Schengen visa, you may enter one country and travel freely throughout the Schengen zone. Internal border controls have disappeared; there are no or few stops and checks. The 15 Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Sweden + Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovenia, Slovaquia and Czech Republic. All these countries except Norway and Iceland are European Union members. There is no official luggage storage in CDG. For storage durations above 6 hours, baggage storage can be provided by Bagages du Monde, with service desks in CDG 1, CDG 2A (landside), and CDG 2F (landside, arrivals level). Baggage is registered at the service desks but is promptly moved to/from a secure storage area in the CDG cargo zone. There
