What is Schengen?
The Schengen Agreement is an agreement among European states which allows for common immigration policies (including the Schengen visa). With a Schengen visa, you may enter one country and travel freely throughout the Schengen zone. Internal border controls have disappeared; there are no or few stops and checks. The 15 Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Sweden + Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovenia, Slovaquia and Czech Republic. All these countries except Norway and Iceland are European Union members. There is no official luggage storage in CDG. For storage durations above 6 hours, baggage storage can be provided by Bagages du Monde, with service desks in CDG 1, CDG 2A (landside), and CDG 2F (landside, arrivals level).
