• The future tool of choice for OLAP analysis on SAP NW BI, codename Pioneer, will combine Voyager’s intuitive User interface with the powerful OLAP capabilities of today’s BEx OLAP tools. • It will be available as web client as well as Excel client with tight integration between the two. • Pioneer will be a new state-of-the art OLAP client based on Ajax (Web 2.0) technology and BI Consumer Services as universal access layer for SAP & Non-SAP multidimensional data. • With this combination of high end analysis capabilities, with ease-of-use and elegant visualization control & personalization features, this will reduce the need for specialized design-time tools and enable Business Users to make simple design & UI changes directly during data analysis. • Pioneer will be available as a premium offering to SAP NW BI. • In 2010, Q1, shipment of a first version of Pioneer is planned, running on the Business Objects Enterprise (BOE) platform. It will run side-by-side with NW BI and will alread
