SAP is a huge enterprise application from SAP AG in Germany. BW stands for Business Warehouse. It’s how you gather metrics on your business. ECC is ERP Central Component. It’s SAP’s upgrade from their Enterprise architecture. It adds a web interface to many of the old interfaces.
