What is Sanshift technology ?

A. The word Sanshift is a combination of French and English. The French word “Sans” means “without” attached to the American word “shift”. Putting the two words together, we have “Sanshift” meaning without shift. The function of Sanshift Technology is to decouple the stress generated in the diaphram of a Pressure sensor during installation. Our Sanshift Technology is very unique to the industry and has significantly improved the stability of our pressure measurements over competitive product. GS Sensors has mastered the art of zero stability, eliminating the need to electrically zero high torque effects during installation. Remember, when you have to electrically zero your pressure sensor due to “imposed stress” in the sensor area, you HAVE NOT changed the fact that the “imposed stress” STILL exist. Keep in mind: Temperature changes + “imposed stress” = creep = drifting effects = fatigue = failure!
