What is SAM Learning?
Some of the Aimhigher School’s make use of an online learning package called SAM Learning. SAM Learning is a learning package that has been proven to improve exam results through the use of exam papers and drag and drop exercises. One of the key features of the service is that it can be accessed using any computer that has internet access. So, whether at home, in school, visiting the library or the local community centre; your child has the ability to study and revise at a time that suits them. SAM offers revision materials for a wide range of subject areas and a tracking tool, which registers when a pupil has logged on and records the topic they studied and gives them an indication of how well they are doing. This way, progress can be monitored, young people can take responsibility for their own learning, identifying areas of work which they may need to put more time and effort in to.
