Salary guide movement from one step on the guide to the next higher step, within the same lane, on that guide, is the natural progression of movement for an employee who does not obtain any additional credits during his or her career. An employee can make a horizontal movement, which is a movement across the salary guide from one lane to the next, by obtaining the designated degree credits outlined below and applying to the credentials review committee.
