What is SAIs attitude towards market liberalization?
SAI Platform members believe that market liberalization and policy reforms are necessary to reduce the isolation of developing countries’ rural poor and small-holder farmers from direct involvement in trade. They support further development of international trade policies and associated institutional reforms and regulatory frameworks that help farmers worldwide participate in the benefits of market liberalisation, which is not the case in the current situation.
