What is SAGE Open?
SAGE Open is an optional program whereby authors of papers published in participating journals can make their primary research articles freely available on SAGE Journals Online immediately upon publication to anyone with internet access. This program enables authors, on payment of a fee, to make their articles immediately available electronically to non-subscribers as well as subscribers. The SAGE Open program will initially operate across a number of biomedical journals in the SAGE STM portfolio (see below). Users can read the articles, host and print them so long as the original authors and source are credited and limitations restricting commercial re-use are respected.
