What is safe to put on my website?
It’s tough to say what it safe, it’s much easier to say what isn’t safe. Putting your home address, name, school, birthdate, or email address online is never safe to do in a public place (regardless of what Tom at MySpace tells you). The only time it would be safe to give out any personal information online, is when you’re absolutely sure you know the person you’re talking to, is someone you know. It’s never safe to give a stranger any information about yourself. This is not just for kids, but adults too. The more anonymous you are online, the safer you are.
