What is RVCC’s Standard of Academic Progress?

The Academic Standards Committee evaluates each student’s academic record (part-time and non-degree seeking students included) at the conclusion of each semester. The College’s standard of academic progress requires that students maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or better, which is defined as “Good Standing.” Accordingly, a minimum of 2.0 is required for graduation.
