WHAT IS RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a format designed for sharing web content. RSS news feeds are free content feeds that contain headlines, articles and links to websites. They deliver news and features directly to you, so you don’t have to visit each webpage separately and you can request the information when you want it.
The RSS option helps you to access the latest content on our site by directly feeding it into your RSS reader. All you need to do is download an RSS reader that you are comfortable with. So if you have missed the latest fitness article or fashion video, fear not. The RSS feed will give you a list of neatly organised index of the latest articles, videos, photo galleries, tools and postings on iDiva.
RSS, short for Really Simple Syndication, is a format called a web feed used to push out frequently updated content to users. RSS lets you monitor many sites blogs, news pages, or sites with regular content updates like Flintbox, without having to constantly visit the site to find new information. A user subscribes to the feed, either through their browser (IE7 and Firefox both have this option built in) or an RSS reader such as Google Reader and when new information is published, it is sent via the feed to every user subscribed to it. For more information on how to do this in Flintbox, see below.
