WHAT IS RSS?
Short for Really Simple Syndication, RSS is a lightweight XML-based technology for sharing Web content. MyItThings currently offers individual user column RSS feed, Homepage RSS feed and Category RSS feed, which contain a headline, a short post summary and a link back to MyItThings for the full story. RSS feeds are free.
Don’t be put off by the acronym. It’s short for “Really Simple Syndication,” and it’s a really fast, efficient Web tool that lets you collect your favorite Web content in one place. Instead of constantly checking for when our next podcast is posted you’ll have regularly updated info right at your fingertips.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. An RSS document, also referred to as a “feed”, typically includes summarized text with links to full versions. These feeds allow users to stay informed about any changes on a web site. The PACER RSS feed contains information such as upgrades to local courts CM/ECF software and PACER announcements. To access the PACER RSS feed simply click on the “RSS Feed” icon on the PACER Service Center home page or enter http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/pacerrss.xml in your browser. You may also subscribe to the feed using the feed reader of your choice.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an easy way to automatically receive updated information from websites. Instead of having to visit a website with your browser, you can use an RSS reader (sometimes called an aggregator) to retreive information for you.
