Short for “Recommended Standard-232C”, a standard interface approved by the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) for connecting serial devices. That port can be used to daisy chain audio video devices for power and control tasks. The implementing and setting up of these ports is handled by dealers, custom installers along with our service technicians and engineers. The implementing and setting up of these features can be a complicated task and we recommend that the customer hire a custom installer to set them up. We do not support the connecting and implementing of the RS-232C port. If you would like to obtain the RS-232C information on our products, please consult your authorized Yamaha dealer.
