What is room and board for foster kids?

0

In order to get money for foster care, you’d have to go through the classes your state offers for that program. It is actually the legal thing to do anyway. If you have kids that aren’t yours, you need to get custody, temporary custody, or have them placed in the state custody and become a foster parent. It’s not really “legal” for you to keep them otherwise. If you want them to be foster children, there are many oppurtunities. Did you know that any child ever in foster care (even for just a few weeks) can get college grants from the gov’t? The rates you get for children in foster care vary according to a few things: state, ages, disabilities, level of care (determined by DFS), etc. You also get WIC for any foster kids from the state. Also, state health care will be provided.
