A device that connects to a WGB communicates with the network infrastructure through Cisco Aironet Access Points (APs). The WGB connects to a hub through a standard Ethernet port with the use of a 10BASE-T connector. You can wire-connect up to eight client devices to the hub. The WGB communicates only with these: • Aironet APs • Aironet Bridges with configuration to operate in AP mode • Aironet Base Stations with configuration to operate in AP mode WGBs cannot associate with other WGBs, wireless clients, or devices that other vendors manufacture.
