RoHS 2 is the common name for the review and updating of the original EU RoHS legislation. This review and updating of the RoHS legislation is built in to the original Directive: RoHS Article 5 (c): “carrying out a review of each exemption in the Annex at least every four years ……” and Article 6: “Review”.
