What is Rockports global strategy?
Our strategy is to establish manufacturing plants in target market countries where we can secure a sufficient level of business to keep a plant operating at capacity for at least two years. Rockport will contract with established local development companies who will be responsible for the urbanization of project sites and the marketing of the houses to individuals end customers; Rockport will focus on manufacturing. Rockport has done initial research and planning for operations in China and India. In these markets Rockport will likely license technology to local companies or government agencies. The revenue model will consist of a royalty fee for each module produced. There will be no up-front licensing fee.
