What is Retail Purchase Protection?
Protects most purchases made on your Citi Dividend Platinum Select credit card against theft or accidental damage, for up to 90 days from the date of purchase. On MasterCard accounts, Purchase Assurance coverage (Coverage is limited to $1,000 per incident and $25,000 per cardmember account per year) is secondary coverage and is underwritten by Virginia Surety Company, Inc. On Visa accounts, Buyers SecuritySM coverage (Coverage is limited to $500 per occurrence and $50,000 per cardmember, per year) is excess coverage and is underwritten by Triton Insurance Company. For both MasterCard and Visa cardmembers, certain conditions, restrictions and exclusions apply. Details of coverage will be provided upon cardmembership.
