What is Respite Care and why should we look into it?
Respite Care provides time off for Caregivers who are burnt out, need rest or healthcare for themselves, or can’t provide care for an extended period of time due to other commitments and responsibilities. The person who requires care can come to stay at a Willow Creek Community for a few days – up to a month or even more. They will receive all the Assisted Living or Memory Care they require, 24 hours per day. They will be eligible to participate in any activities at their location and have the opportunity to socialize. The Caregiver has peace of mind while they take care of other things and refresh themselves.
