What is Resolver One?
Resolver One is a truly programmable spreadsheet application. It makes no distinction between macros – actually Python user code – and the formulae in your cells. Traditional spreadsheet applications force you to treat your worksheets as “stuff in the grid” and “macro code”, with at best a tenuous connection between the two. Resolver One, however, treats your formulae and your macros as being different aspects of the same thing, making it easy to treat your spreadsheet model as a coherent whole. What’s more, Resolver One supports scripting in the Python programming language, which is a fully-featured development language rather than a specialised scripting language like VBA. In short, Resolver One is a spreadsheet application designed for people who find that traditional spreadsheets aren’t programmable enough.
