What is required when I apply for a new Maryland CDL?
In order to apply for a new Maryland CDL, there are a few things you are required to provide. First, you must present identification which proves your age and U.S. citizenship. Second, you must also be able to provide two forms of documentation to prove your Maryland residency. In addition, you will be required to pass a Department of Transportation physical exam prior to the testing. You will be required to present the report, card, or certificate that states you passed the exam to the individual giving the test.
