What is required to maintain membership in the honors program?

Honors students must successfully complete at least one honors option (honors course or honors independent study) within the first 2 semesters after being admitted into the honors program. They must also maintain a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. Students whose cumulative GPA fall below a 3.5 will be placed on probation and will have one semester to raise their GPA to the minimum requirement. Students who do not meet these requirements will be removed from the honors program.
