This element is specifically identified in the standards and requires additional evidence to other training related elements. In order to meet this element, the evidence needs to include evidence that: • The training was focused on and covers preventing, identifying, reporting, recording and responding to harm required to meet the needs of the target group. This training will fall into two distinct areas, which are: • How to work with children to prevent and identify harm and risk of harm which may well be provided externally, by a qualified trainer such as a trainer who holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a registered training organisation, and • The services processes for reporting, recording and responding to harm or risk of harm, which may well be provided by a member of the services own staff. • A certificate or equivalent, signed by whoever provided the training, for individual staff. • A register of training showing who received the training and the date of the
