Signature Members qualify for a Merit Award with each five acceptances into the CPSA International or Explore This! Exhibitions. Acceptances for the two shows are tracked separately. There is no time limitation, but artists must maintain continuous membership to qualify.

Signature Members earn Merit Recognition with each five acceptances (including the three for Signature status) in the CPSA International Exhibition. Starting with the 2010 exhibition, Merit Recognition applies for the Explore This! online show as well.
