What is required to cancel an insurance policy Saxon purchased for me?
• A. To cancel the policy, you must provide proof of insurance coverage (a copy of the declaration page from your policy) for the period of the policy we purchase for you. There should be no lapse in the coverage. Upon providing proof of coverage Saxon will refund the unearned premium of any lender placed insurance to your escrow account. The refund will be prorated based on the number of days for which there may be an overlap in coverage, or if there was no lapse in coverage, a full refund will be made. Please be advised if you do not have an escrow account, one will be established for you.
