What is required to be submitted to Hydro Ottawa before I can get a new electrical service?

0

In all cases we will require a site plan, load summary and electrical single line diagram. If the service can be fed from our existing secondary distribution we may also need the location of the proposed electrical room. Once we have this information we can then select a supply point and prepare a cost for connection. If your location has electrical loads in excess of 100 kilowatts it will be necessary to install a transformer on your site. In this case we require (in addition to the above) the preferred location of the transformer on the site plan. If the supply area requires a transformer vault we would also require a transformer vault layout drawing.
