What is required of the writers at FSR?
The requirements placed on individual writers are not unrealistically strict. We understand that every writer contributes strictly on a volunteer basis, and needs to maintain a semi-sane version of a real life. All we ask of our staff writers is at least 1 review per week, and contribution to any special features (i.e. Oscar Week, Film Festival Coverage, etc.) Reviews are chosen on a first come, first serve basis via the volunteer system (i.e. writers volunteer for reviews each week, and then the editor assigns them accordingly.) The only other requirement of a writer at FSR is that you are open to honest feedback from the editor and other writers. We only seek to make each other better, and the best way for that is to keep an open forum for criticism and feedback.
