What is required for the remaining seven EAs to be approved?
The Minister of Environment has ordered that the three Class EA reports, which contain the seven challenged EA projects, be revised as needed and Notices of Completion be re-issued for these projects upon completion of the Third Party Review. There will be a 30-day public review period and the opportunity to file Part II Order requests (requests for a bump-up to an individual environmental assessment) for these seven projects. If Part II Order requests are filed, the Minister of the Environment will need to make a decision on the requests.
