What is required for a Connecticut real estate salesperson licensee to upgrade to a real estate broker license?
To obtain a real estate broker license in the state of Connecticut, you must have held your real estate salesperson license for at least two years. In addition, you need 120 hours of classroom training, including 60 hours of Principles & Practices. If you took Principles & Practices prior to October, 2004, then only 30 hours of coursework was required. To upgrade to your broker’s license, an additional 30 hours will now be needed.
