What is Renewable and Non-Renewable energy?

0

Renewable- something that can be replenished or doesn’t run out. Examples- solar and wind can’t run out. Biofuels from sugar cane or corn, we can plant more so they can be replenished. Possitives for wind and solar no emissions, no transportation costs, no country can control it, negatives- the are a new technology so they tend to be seen as expensive, many people don’t like the look of them, they can’t work everywhere and they aren’t constant. Solar only works during daylight and wind only when it’s blowing. Non-renewable. These are things that are finite, and can’t be replenished. Coal, and oil are the 2 most common. Positives- we have an infastructure already in place. Negatives- pollution, damages the earth to aquire, the supply will run out, nations can control who gets the product, the price can be affected by the stock market, weather or political issues.
