What is Remy hair and where does it come from?
First, we would like for our customers to understand that true Remy hair only comes from India! Remy has become a popular term to describe just about any type of human hair from around the world but that is misleading. (This is why you will see us classify our other types of human hair as virgin hair and not “Remy”. Also, Indian Remy as we’ve classified it means virgin Indian hair that has been altered in either texture or color. Our virgin or natural colors for ALL of our hair types is classified as 1B, 2 or 3.) Remy hair is selected from one donor “root end first”. Cuticles are kept intact and each hair strand is kept in one direction. This process is necessary for stronger, healthier, long lasting, beautiful hair.
