RemoteWorks powered DiRECWAYTM, is a satellite-based high speed internet service. “Satellite-based” means your connection to the Internet is via a satellite rather than wires or coaxial cable. “High speed internet” means the connection speeds are more than 128Kbps (kilobits per second). Download speeds, depending on the selected plan, can actually reach 400Kbps, 750kbps, or 1Mbpsabout eight to twenty times faster than a 56Kbps dial-up modem.
