What is Remote Viewer?
Remote Viewer is a software that allow user to view the DVR system over the Internet or through a modem dial-up connection. Modem dial-up connection requires both the DVR system and remote PC to have a modem. The DVR system must be connected to a dedicated phone line in order to achieve a good connection without interruption. As for the Internet connection, user have the option to use Static IP or Dynamic IP software. Both options will work, but the Static IP will give user a dedicated line to the DVR system without any interruption and the Dynamic IP software will require user to perform an IP check before connecting to the DVR system remotely.
