REMAC is a committee comprised of physicians and paramedics who establish the scope of practice for paramedics in the NYC region. As the scope of practice varies from region to region for quantitative, clinical and didactic components, the REMAC Committee ensures that all paramedics in NYC operate under the same protocols. To work as a Paramedic in FDNT, you must have a REMAC certification.
