What is Registry Corruption?
The registry is extensive and while the nature of the registry is simply one where values are changed, added or deleted, this can still lead to problems. Often the fault isn’t that of the registry’s but of individual programs. When new software, hardware or drivers get installed they can sometimes deposit duplicate entries. When they’re removed they can leave residual data. This data can cause execution conflicts, leading to errors.
