What is Reg clean?
Reg Clean is actually a freeware utility from Microsoft that helps to repair a number of registry problems that are somewhat common to Microsoft products. While Reg Clean isn’t nearly as thorough or useful as some proprietary solutions such as Registry Mechanic, it does serve the needs of millions of low-risk users. Reg Clean works to analyze the structure and integrity of the Windows registry, and reg clean is best used to find registry keys that might contain incorrect or missing values. After reg clean records these entries in what is called an “UNDO.REG” file, it then removes the problematic entries from the Windows Registry.
