At Redpath Sugar we are constantly striving to reduce our environmental footprint. • We are very proud that Redpath Sugar Ltd. has been awarded the Canadian Industry Program for Energy Conservation (CIPEC) Leadership Award for 2009. This award is from Natural Resources Canada and recognizes Canadian industries who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to improving energy efficiency. • We use ocean going ships to transport raw sugar to our plant, the greenest way possible. This is made possible by the St.Lawrence Seaway that permits ocean-going vessels to travel from the Atlantic Ocean all the way to Toronto.
