What is recycled cotton?

0

It may be the most environmentally friendly fiber on the planet. Made from pre-consumer cotton “table waste” clippings that otherwise would be dumped in landfills, recycled cotton is manufactured with no wet finishing or dying. There is no chemical or liquid of any kind used in its process. Plus, recent advances in manufacturing have made the look and feel of recycled cotton almost identical to regular cotton. Recycled cotton makes sense. Using it in place of regular cotton helps eliminate the harsh dyes, pesticides, energy, water and human labor required for conventionally grown cotton. Furthermore, by recycling discarded fibers we help divert the millions of tons of textile waste that enter our landfills each year.
