What is recovery like for the neck lift procedure?
Recovery from a neck lift can take up to ten days. You may experience bruising and swelling during this time. Dr. Savalia may suggest elevating your head at night and he will also recommend keeping your head and neck still and elevated at all times throughout the recovery period. Dr. Savalia will prescribe oral pain medication as needed, and advise you about physical activity restrictions. For the two weeks following surgery, you will be asked to wear a protective garment around your neck during the evening. Final results from your neck lift will be evident in three to six months.
