What is real in this world and what holds any true value?
Welcome to my world. I’ve spent over 40 years going through what you are going through now. I tried the recluse thing, I tried drugs and alcohol, peace and violence and everything in between and I’ve come to the conclusion that all along I was being called by Jesus to come to Him. A few years ago I was listening to the radio and some whack-job was on a rant about “right wing Christians.” Now I didn’t have anything particularly good to say about Christians at that time but I had MUCH less good to say about liberals; I switched stations to a Christian broadcast with the thought in mind “If the liberal pukes don’t like Christianity it MUST be OK.” I figured that I would give that station a week to convince me and I soon found that they pretty much agreed with my position on almost everything.
