The strength of a sheathing material is commonly measured by RACKING RESISTANCE, which can be converted to shear strength. Thermo-ply® sheathing offers superior racking resistance to meet and/or exceed most building codes. ASTM E 72 is the standard test procedure for determining a sheathing’s value.
