What is racial harassment, Hate crime and Homophobic incidents ?
A racial incident is any incident which is perceived to be racist by the victim or any other person” (Stephen Lawrence report 1999) This may be directed or motivated by prejudice, towards another person, on the grounds of a persons racial or ethnic origins, their cultural, religious beliefs or faiths or sexual orientation. This includes verbal abuse, threats and even physical violence.
