What is R1/R3 encoding?
A few of our titles might be encoded for Region1 (North America) or Region3 (Asia). If your player is not a region-free player, the disc will not start. If you do not have a region-free player, some PC-based DVD software programs will let you change your region-settings (limited number of times usually). The region codes are explained below. Please check to make sure your player is capable of reading R3/R1 discs before ordering such titles. As, we cannot help in such cases if your player is not region-free. Thank you.
