What is QUT’s involvement in the Kelvin Grove Urban Village?
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is one of Australia’s largest university’s with around 40,000 students. Three faculties of the University (Creative Industries, Health and Education) as well as two multi-disciplinary research institutes (Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation and Institute of Creative Industries and Innovation) are based at Kelvin Grove in and adjacent to the Urban Village. The University prides itself as “a university for the real world” because of its close links with industry and its relevant teaching and applied research.
