What is QuickStep programming?
QuickStep programming enables the user program up the GSM-2110 / -4110 without the need for a serial interfaced PC or set-up software. This is done using DIP-switches in the GSM-2110 / -4110, before switching on the Unit. The Unit is switched on after the new DIP-switch settings are done. After a few seconds the Unit is ready for operation, with the new settings effective. If the GSM-2110 / -4110 is then called by a cell-phone, it stores the call number of the cell-phone in the first call number of the first call group of stored numbers. Up to nine call numbers can be entered in the same way, in this call group, each of which are called in succession by the unit at intervals of 30 minutes, if the unit receives no acknowledgement to the calls.
