A. When the nail grows out, the vein or quick grows out with it and cant be cut off where it looks like it should be. If you do, you will cut into the quick and it will bleed. Each time you clip the nail the vein retracts a bit until it is back where it should be. This is why I recommend coming in once a week for a few weeks to get the nails back where they should be.
