Western style is usually ridden by western horses. Full Quarter Horse Bars means that the gullet will fit the average size of a Quarter horse. Now if you have a different breed of horse or a smaller quarter horse than you need to measure his gullet size.I have an Arabian who rides western so i know what your probably going through. I just take a wire and mold it to his back as if it were the saddle tree and make it so that (if it was a saddle) it wouldnt dig into his shoulders or slide down his back when riding ect. Then i measure the width of the wire and that would be your Aprx gullet size.
