The simple Dublin Core elements are too simple for many users. They have started to develop subclasses of elements, based on the Dublin Core. So now there is “simple” Dublin Core, and “qualified” Dublin Core. The Qualified Dublin Core elements are not finalized. They are still being developed. All Dublin Core implementations are therefore, to a certain extent, experimental.
